Exposure HappiApp

The Health App 'Happi' is being developed by experienced doctors with the help of patients. Their vision is to promote health with the help of digital support by focusing on what is still possible instead of focusing on what is no longer possible. ‍

The HappiApp currently offers support to people with HIV (Happi HIV), people with skin problems (Happi Skin), people with a blood disorder (Happi Hematology) and people with fatty liver disease (Happi Liver). Through the HappiApp Foundation, Happi has a network of specialists who provide knowledge to your advantage.

In 2019, the HappiApp for 'HIV' was developed with great enthusiasm by Dr. Joop Arends and Dr. Guido van den Berk and has since been considerably expanded. It has become a digital platform where a lot of information can be found for people with HIV, supported by the HIV Association and Alliance Partners. As a nurse I supported this digital application and as an self-employed entrepreneur I consider it an honor that bringing 'more exposure and all the features' is my first assignment in the field of HIV.

Sensible Infectious Diseases Care, ZIZ

Zinnige Infectieziekten Zorg, ZIZ (Sensible Infectious Disease Care)

ZIZ is a non-profit foundation, founded by healthcare providers with the aim of making STD care faster and more accessible to everyone.

ZIZ is a non-commercial foundation. We started as a ZonMw project of the Medical Microbiology department of the LUMC. We still work closely with them. The LUMC is the healthcare provider of all care offered through ZIZ. The care via ZIZ concerns insured care. Together with insurers and our foundation a new form of financing is being evaluated.

The goal of ZIZ is implementation of affordable, outcome-oriented STD care.

A great initiative by Dr. Bas Mourik, of which I have been a fan since the start in 2022. And I am happy to be able to contribute to this initiative with my expertise as an HIV/STD nursing consultant since September 2023.

Hello Gorgeous

By combating stigmatization, the Hello Gorgeous Foundation aims to normalize living with HIV.

We do this, among other things, with our magazine, which is published four times a year. The magazine is for everyone living with HIV. Anyone who has a boyfriend, girlfriend, child or grandmother or grandfather with HIV. Anyone who works with HIV and anyone who is interested in HIV.

I find it a great pleasure and am truly honored that I have been able to contribute with my columns to the inspiring glossy magazine Hello Gorgeous as one of many volunteers since January 2023. Curious about my writing and the other content of this wonderful magazine?
